Ok, I got the new 6x5.5 wheels 2 months ago and had the 33" ProComp Xtreme MTs moved over. I got one wheel on the rear axle and started to put the other wheel on and noticed a screw/bolt in the drum brake. The head doesn't allow the wheel to sit flush against the drum, any ideas what it is before I pull it out?

Got one wheel on the front axle and noticed it wouldn't turn.. ..ok, need to go with 17's for a standard offset, otherwise you need spacers or a negative offset to clear the steering arm. The 16" wheel hit the arm on the knuckle and wouldn't allow me to fully tighten the lugs and rotate the wheel.

My next step, for now, is going to be gutting the dash and start stripping the engine compartment and driveline as none of it will be needed for the Vortec. The radiator is coming out and getting relocated to the back with electric fans. Not sure if the Geo radiator will be enough for the Vortec, but radiators are cheap enough.

Steering is another issue that popped into my head the other day. Ugh, I gotta make that work with the vortec pump.. that should be fun.

Well, I'm tired.. ..yes, it's only 7am but I was up at 5am. I'm at the airport waiting for my 8:30 flight to Alaska for work.

The screw head on the rear drum i believe that it might hold the drum onto the axle itself remove screw and there might be some slack to get the rear wheels on on the front i have no idea. might just have to go with wheel spacers.

So I stopped by the storage unit and made a list of everything it looks like I need to get the engine running..

Power Steering Pump
Alternator (x2, gonna have an adapter made to add another where the A/C pump goes)
Starter
Throttle linkage
Spark Plugs
Spark Plug Wires
Coil Pack (x2)
Stand-Alone engine harness ($350 on ebay)
ECU
Valve Cover
Valve Cover Gasket
Centerbolts for Valve Cover
Fuel Pump
Dipstick
Emissions Headers (need O2 port)
O2 Sensors

Shouldn't be too bad. I can start workin on that and see if I can get it to fire up on the engine stand.
