OK I am a little sad to post this (but confused because I posted it already and its not on here)...

As you know the 2001 Tracker I drove has been my baby since 2005 and I loved every minute of owning it. When Star Trek TNG ended the last sow was called "All good things" so I find it fit to title my last post about my 2001 this.

I have decided after doing the math it was time to stop driving the 2001. The math being...

Due to bouncing back and forth about keeping it before I let some things go to long and just couldn't see them being fixable. Like :

Rusted out supports for the front seats
Rusted out rocker panels
Busted Grill from moron backing into my custom grille
Dents and Dings that were just adding up from people being mean to my car
Power window on driver side no matter what i tried not working right

Then there were the little things that didn't matter but helped

Paint job
New Brakes and rotors
New Tires

The last little list is just off the top of my head and though they are duh type of things I did also count them in when thinking about a new car.

So I started thinking...what do I want...I want a mini van. Say what you want but I have loved minivans since I was in college. The room...the comfort...which are both big deals because of what i use my cars for and how much time I spend in them.

Another thing is though I don't care really I have always LOVED Dodge/Chryslers since my first car was a Dodge. So I decided I wanted a Caravan. I mean think about it they always say don't by a new car the first 2 years of its becoming a name plate because they find flaws and fix them by the 3rd. The Caravan has been around for years...so I wanted it.

I set my sights out....do I want a payment or what.

Well I got lucky and my one bosses ex-wife has one for sale...Blue booked at $5500-6500 for this 2003 Caravan Sport. Drove it once and fell in love. I don't want to bore you with details so lets say this after alot of feet dragging I bought on both sides I paid $3500 for it. It needs little things here and there but when you consider what my Tracker needed...wow! The guy when threw in 4 more tires with decent tread, 6 plugs, oil filter, Tranny filter and 8 quarters of tranny fluid.

We are parking the 2001 on my dad’s farm to keep for body parts and whatever else we find in it we can use on my mom’s 2001 LT and/or my wives 2002 ZR2(like the passenger side power window is acting up so we may do something there). Hey we own it out right why not?

So that’s the story of my new ride...hopefully this will post this time. I am going to double check later but I am sure it had 66,000 miles in 2005 when I bought it and it currently has just under 140,000. In about 5 years I have put on almost 80,000 miles. I will miss it but life moves on
